I have a soothing presence and seek to empower my students through musical expression. I teach from 6 years old on and come to your house. What I specialize in is facilitating people playing the songs they want to play as soon as possible. I have many kids playing their favorite contemporary songs in the first lesson! I teach flatpicking and fingerpicking and styles ranging from classical to heavy metal. In addition, if a student is inclined, I will help him/her write songs on topics of their own choosing. I charge $55/hr. If you prefer to come to my house the cost is only $45. I also offer online webcam lessons through Skype for $40/hr. or $20/ for one half hour.
